Wrestling Announces “Iron Sharpens Iron” Wrestling Camp July 14 & 15

The varsity wrestling team will host the “Iron Sharpens Iron” wrestling camp featuring former high school teammates Dresden Simon (Central Michigan University) and Clay Ragon (Ohio State University). Dresden Simon is a 2-time MHSAA State Champion, 4-time All-State wrestler, Flo National champion and currently wrestles at Central Michigan University. Clay Ragon is a 2-time MHSAA

Varsity Wrestling Wins District Crown

The Kalkaska Blazer wrestling team made history on Thursday night at home as they won their 2nd district title in school history, and the first title in the team-dual format.  More impressively, the Blazers were able to overcome holes in their lineup to beat Kingsley 54-18 in the semifinal and Benzie Central 33-30 in the final.

Eddie Davidson Earns 100th Career Victory

Senior Eddie Davidson earned his 100th career win on Saturday on his way to a 2nd place finish at the Reed City Coyote Invitational.  Eddie is a Regional Qualifier and has a record of 30-7 so far this year. Ethan Hicks (So. 36-2) also earned silver while Seth Neckel (Jr. 17-7) took home 4th place.
