The boys were hoping to reap some revenge on the Elks last night, however, we came up a bit short. Yet again Jacob Olds played killer defense on the Elk Rapids Point Guard, Emery Rubert (holding him to just two buckets in the second half), but Rubert made his free throws to keep Elk Rapids in the game. Owen Dennis came into the game in the second half and really amped up the defense for the Blazers and getting some key steals to keep the game close. Jason Koski and Hunter Rhoat had several important rebounds and finishes at the hoop to show the Elks that the Blazers meant business. Tyler Guggemos handled the ball well tonight and helped score 6 pts. Gavin Gilbert and Hayden Moore showed they were forces to be recond with in the finial minutes of the game. They both ended the game with 12 points each. Damian Allen battled on the boards against the Elks and had two put backs to finish with 4 pts tonight. Eric Konsdorf, Trenton Brooks-Cross, and Andreau Hendges played great minutes for the Blazers tonight giving multiple defensive looks to keep Elk Rapids guessing on what the Blazers were going to throw at them.

Alas, the game did not end the way the boys had hoped but we showed immense improvement from when we played Elk Rapids at our place. As our season has come to a close, thank you to all the players, fans, and especially all the parents for your support throughout this season.
